Situated just minutes from heart of Melbourne, the Docklands Harbour, known as Victoria Harbour is an extensive waterfront precinct. Wide promenades beside the water are home to offices, restaurants, apartment buildings, and retail outlets. There are also many sculptures, figures, and creative artworks on display.
In the background you can see the Bolte Bridge and its twin pylon towers. Marvel Stadium overlooks the harbour to the east. The stadium has had quite a few name changes since its inception. No doubt it’ll be changing its name again soon, when a new sponsor is appointed, but you could also call it the Docklands stadium.
There are also cycling paths linking the area with other parts of the city like Southbank, on the other side of the Yarra River. The Docklands Harbour also has a full service boutique marina if you happen to own a luxury yacht.
